Plant
In the CCS the term is used in its broadest sense to include machinery, equipment, tools, and other construction aids used on a construction site during any of the construction processes but which do not become permanently incorporated into the works.
Construction aids are defined by ISO/DIS 12006-2 as "Material construction resources not intended for incorporation in a permanent manner in Construction entities." Construction aids is a broader term that also includes resources not necessarily used wholly on site such as drawings.
Plant, in the CCS, like Labour, is considered a Product, being either purchased or hired and will be found throughout as Products of the various entities that make up the CCS.
